I have been trying to search for a free application where I can produce cartoons from pictures. I came across a tiny toon cartoon that turns pictures into cartoon. The online application is free and so this is always a good application I can use. The features are user friendly and it appears to create a cartoon image that looks really like a cartoon. I was thinking I needed to add an additional element to my blog to make it look more like a blog with creativity. I like the idea that the application is free, but I am still not sure if I will continue to use the online application for future cartoon images.
With the week coming to a close and today is Friday, I am not sure how the procedures will work when we return to blended learning on Monday. The image attached is how I am currently feeling. I have been receiving a few group text messages from colleagues at my school. I try to be nice about it, but I rarely respond to their text messages. With Friday, Saturday and Sunday left for my spring break vacation, the last thing I would want to do is play text messaging back and forth with colleagues. I would much rather enjoy the rest of my vacation. I have some pretty cool colleagues at work, but I'm not into constantly texting. So every time I receive an unexpected text message this week, the picture below depicts the feeling I have because my spring break is almost over.
With that, I am hoping the tiny toon application will be an application I can use for my blog. Also, I think creating cartoons for my Jamboard instruction for my students is kind of neat. I just started using Jamboard about 3 weeks ago before the start of the spring break. Using Desmos on the Jamboard was a nice change of pace for the students because the lessons are interactive. When I return to Quarter 4 on Monday, I think I'll add some cartoon images to the Jamboard along with the Math curriculum. I know it will be a definite change to the Math lessons for my distance learning students.
